| Introducing PracticeBetter.com |
|
Welcome to PracticeBetter.com, the blogging community for Practice Management and more specifically the Time Matters Software Platform. Having spent eight years on the engineering team responsible for these products, my goal is to bring a unique perspective to the Time Matters community. We'll be discussing the topics that matter most to those professionals responsible for implementing, enhancing and maximizing the productivity of arguably the Industry's most "popular" Case Management system. The Time Matters suite has recently been undergoing a rebranding effort by LexisNexis. As of version 9.x the new, full product names are: Lexis Front Office Powered by Time Matters, Lexis Back Office Powered by Billing Matters and Practice Advantage Powered by Time Matters. There are other products provided by LexisNexis with similar names but for simplicity sake we will stick to "Time Matters", "Billing Matters" or "Practice Advantage" when referring to the product line. Having said that, we will primarily focus most of our insights on Time Matters and Practice Advantage. Time Matters is by far the most popular product offering in the suite. As a courtesy to my former employer, whenever possible I will attempt to solicit feedback from a Time Matters representative prior to posting time sensitive information. In general I am bound not to disclose documented "trade secrets" or specific information not generally known to the public. I do however hope to bring a rich set of experiences and personal insights when possible. I also hope to invite several guest bloggers from the Time Matters Consulting Community as well as current and past members pf the Time Matters Development Team. We may also have some fun from time to time going gently off-topic. Our goal is to blog at least three times a week, possibly more frequently, especially when our guest bloggers are participating. There will be an appropriate mix of short "pithy" posts and lengthy articles. Each article will have an opportunity to be commented on. The comments will be moderated and posted at the earliest convenience. Please try to keep your comments on point, on time and appropriate. Thanks for your patronage and please do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions or comments.
